Ukrainian prosecutors have released new footage related to the bombing in Monaco that seriously injured businessman Vadym Yermolaiev and members of his family. The attack took place on June 30 in the Mediterranean principality, known for its discreet and affluent environment. The motive behind the incident remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing, involving authorities from Monaco, France, Ukraine, and the international police organization Interpol.

The video, provided on Saturday, shows an individual wearing a hat and carrying a bag placing an object at the entrance of a building before walking away. Shortly after, a man, woman, and child approach the same area, and an explosion occurs, causing the video to become obscured. According to Ukrainian Chief Prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko, the footage originated from a surveillance camera reportedly installed by the alleged perpetrators to confirm the success of the operation. Although the images were initially deleted, specialists from the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) managed to recover them.

Anastasiia Berezovska, the suspect linked to the bombing, was discovered dead in Ukraine several days following the attack. Ukrainian military intelligence officer confessioned to killing her but claimed to have acted independently without orders from his superiors, as reported by the SBU.

The Monaco prosecutor’s office has not provided immediate comments on the video release or any updates on the investigation. Meanwhile, Yermolaiev’s legal representatives have alleged that Ukrainian security services orchestrated the explosion and have called for protection for the family. In a letter shared with French media, Yermolaiev accused the Ukrainian military intelligence agency of attempting to assassinate his family. The letter states that Yermolaiev remains hospitalized, his partner Anna has sustained irreversible injuries, and their 13-year-old son suffered burns and fractures.

Despite these allegations, the letter also expresses gratitude to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for his attention and some form of assistance, though details were not specified. Yermolaiev was sanctioned by Zelensky’s government in 2023 for his connections to Russia and has declared that he renounced his Ukrainian citizenship. President Zelensky has not publicly commented on whether he was involved in responding to the attack.
