Ni Hsin Group Bhd’s subsidiary, Ni Hsin EV Tech Sdn Bhd, has secured two contracts worth a combined RM2.76 million from Alam Flora Sdn Bhd, a unit of Malakoff Corp Bhd, for the supply and delivery of electric vehicles. The agreements involve the provision of a fleet of electric motorcycles and tricycles to support Alam Flora’s operations.
Under the terms of the contracts, Ni Hsin EV Tech is tasked with delivering 105 electric motorcycles valued at RM1.56 million. The majority of these motorcycles are designated for the Klang Valley region, with a significant portion—93 units—scheduled for deployment to Alam Flora’s Batu Muda Depot in Kuala Lumpur. Additional motorcycles will be allocated to the Recycling Innovation Facility Depot located in Putrajaya.
In addition to the motorcycles, the subsidiary will supply 56 electric tricycles worth RM1.2 million. These tricycles are intended for operational use across multiple locations, including Kuantan, Kuala Lipis, Cameron Highlands, and Kuala Lumpur.
The contracts specify a firm deadline for completion and full deployment of the fleet by December 31, 2026. The initiative aligns with efforts to enhance the use of electric vehicles within waste management and related services, supporting environmental sustainability goals.
