South Korean girl group Fifty Fifty has expressed a strong interest in returning to Singapore for a full fan concert, despite the city-state being excluded from their current Asia Fancon Tour, Still Lobubble. The group, which last performed in Singapore in May during a 25-minute set at Mediacorp’s Cloud 9 music event at Arena @ Expo, shared their enthusiasm during a Zoom interview on September 8.
Four of the group’s five members—Keena, Chanelle Moon, Yewon, and Athena—participated in the discussion. The fifth member, Hana, has been on hiatus since March due to health concerns and did not join the recent activities. The group praised Singapore’s scenery and cultural atmosphere, with Chanelle Moon, 23, recalling their previous visit positively and expressing a desire to explore the country more extensively on a future trip. Athena, the youngest member at 19, mentioned her interest in attending the upcoming Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026, highlighting her passion for motorsports and interest in local music acts such as Singaporean star Jill Lin, who will perform at the Padang Stage during the event.
Yewon, 21, voiced eagerness to present a broader range of the group’s musical styles to their Singaporean audience, from emotive ballads to lively dance tracks. Their current fancon tour has encountered some logistical setbacks. Stops planned for Jakarta and Manila were canceled due to local circumstances and partner discussions, while the Kuala Lumpur show was postponed to the latter half of 2026 to allow for more comprehensive preparation. To date, the tour has only reached two of its five scheduled locations, Seoul on August 14 and Tokyo on August 11.
Unlike their usual concerts, fancons combine live performances with interactive segments such as interviews and games. Chanelle Moon noted that these formats have been a fresh experience for Fifty Fifty, enabling them to showcase their personalities and teamwork, as well as deepen their rapport as a group.
The group performed most of the six tracks from their latest EP, Imperfect-Imperfect, released June 1 next to Seoul and Tokyo. These include “Like A Bubble,” described by 24-year-old Keena as a blend of easy listening and hip-hop, and “Carry On,” an emotional piece intended to inspire fans during challenging times, as mentioned by Athena. Yewon singled out “Genie Magic” as her favorite due to its catchy melody and uplifting message. “Starstruck,” an electro-synth track they previewed in Singapore last May, also features prominently in their repertoire. Chanelle Moon highlighted the song’s significance, noting that it represented a new musical direction and aesthetic for the group.
In addition to their music, Fifty Fifty recently appeared in the short-form series After-School Exorcism Club, which debuted on the global streaming platform Kitz and had a theatrical edition screened in Singapore in August. The series, along with its cinematic release, showcases all five members portraying high school students with ghost-exorcising abilities. Keena described the acting experience as challenging but rewarding, emphasizing how subtle emotional nuances on screen allowed them to reveal different aspects of their talents beyond live performances.
The group has yet to announce concrete plans for a dedicated Singapore concert but reaffirmed their desire to visit again and share more of their artistry with local fans.
