Noah Kahan has released "Draw You Out," the first single from the soundtrack of the upcoming film "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping." The folk-pop artist collaborated once again with producer and songwriter Aaron Dessner on the track, which was written and recorded between Long Pond Studio in New York and studios in Nashville. The song features Kahan’s distinctive layered vocals and reflective style, elements that helped establish him as a prominent figure in the music industry following his breakthrough with "Stick Season."

"Draw You Out" will be part of "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album)," set for release on November 13 through MCA. The soundtrack, executive produced by Dave Cobb, is expected to include 29 artists from various genres, although, at this time, Kahan remains the only confirmed contributor.

Kahan, who has read all of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games novels and viewed the film adaptations, characterized his involvement in the project as an "insane opportunity." He noted that working on the soundtrack allowed him to engage creatively with the characters and themes crafted by Collins, while collaborating with the film’s production team.

The song ties into the narrative of "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping," which will hit theaters on November 20. The film serves as a prequel, set 24 years prior to the original Hunger Games storyline, and introduces a new cast and story to expand the franchise.
