Residents in Worcester experience the highest frequency of noise complaints about neighbors in the United Kingdom, according to recent research. The study found that the city averaged 204 Google searches related to noise complaints per 100,000 people each month, the highest rate observed across the country.

Following Worcester, Eastbourne ranked second in terms of noise-related search activity, while Blackpool was third. The analysis was conducted by Decibel, a company specializing in acoustics and noise measurement.

Acoustic engineer Tsvetan Nedkov emphasized the impact of noise disturbances on well-being, noting that the home environment should be a place of safety and relaxation. “When faced with noise disturbances such as noisy neighbours, it can cause stress and even anxiety,” Nedkov said.

The findings highlight ongoing concerns about residential noise issues in certain urban areas, with digital search data providing insight into where such conflicts may be most prevalent. While the data reflects online search behavior rather than official complaint figures, it suggests that noise disturbances remain a significant source of discomfort for many residents in these locations.
