Elizabeth “Liz” Waddell, a 44-year-old physical therapist from Cary, North Carolina, was last seen on video footage several hours before being reported missing in Grenada. Waddell had been staying at an Airbnb with a friend in the Grand Anse area, a popular beach resort neighborhood in the capital city of St. George’s.

Surveillance footage released by Waddell’s family shows her walking toward the beach at approximately 11:45 a.m. local time. Shortly thereafter, she jumped off a nearby jetty into the water and swam around for about 19 minutes. The video captures her returning to the jetty area around 12:04 p.m., from where she began walking toward Grand Anse beach.

Local authorities in Grenada are investigating the circumstances surrounding Waddell’s disappearance. Her husband, Cailen Waddell, provided details about her last known movements based on the surveillance timeline. The reasons behind her disappearance remain unclear, and both the family and police continue efforts to locate her.

No further information has been released regarding any additional sightings or search operations. The case has drawn attention due to the unexplained nature of her vanishing amid a routine visit to the Caribbean island.
