Dena Tripp, cofounder of the dessert chain Nothing Bundt Cakes, is launching a new milkshake business called Shook Shakery in Nevada. Although no longer associated with Nothing Bundt Cakes, Tripp is partnering with her son Sean and Jessica Spencer, a former employee of the bakery chain, to introduce the new venture. Shook Shakery will offer a variety of milkshakes made with real fruit, including in-house cake flavors and the company’s signature whipped topping.
The first four Shook Shakery locations will open in Nevada, with the flagship store scheduled to start operations in Henderson at 3360 St Rose Parkway in August. Three additional sites will launch in the Las Vegas area over the coming months: 6235 S. Durango Drive planned for September, 8705 W. Deer Springs Way expected in mid-fall, and 4693 Blue Diamond Road tentatively slated to open between late 2026 and early 2027. Each location will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature both drive-thru and walk-up service options. At this stage, no plans for expansion beyond these four outlets have been announced.
Shook Shakery’s menu consists of 15 milkshake flavors categorized into three groups titled “The Classics,” “The Fancy,” and “The Fun.” All shakes combine ice cream, real fruit, and house-made cake, and are topped with the brand’s signature whipped cream. Dairy-free options are available in selected flavors. Among “The Classics” are Vanilla Waves, featuring vanilla ice cream with vanilla cake, and Let’s Jam, a strawberry-based shake mixed with pink cake. “The Fancy” selection includes Wakey Shakey, a coffee-infused milkshake blended with chocolate cake, and Groovin’ Granny, combining apples, caramel, and brown sugar cake. Offering more playful combinations, “The Fun” lineup includes It’s My Party, a vanilla and sprinkles shake, and NutterVibes, a peanut butter and cookie crumble shake.
The company is also featuring a dessert option for dogs called the Tail Spin, a frozen treat designed for pets. Shook Shakery has pledged to donate $1 from each Tail Spin sale to a local Nevada pet charity.
This new venture represents Tripp’s continued engagement in the dessert and specialty beverage market, leveraging her experience from Nothing Bundt Cakes to create a fresh concept focused on milkshake innovation.
