PIMCO Europe Limited has announced the planned wind-up of its Defined Contribution Pension Plan, scheduled to begin on December 10, 2026. The pension scheme, which was established on June 1, 2014, closed to new contributions as of July 31, 2026.
The trustees of the plan have made efforts to contact all members and beneficiaries for whom they hold records. Communications detailing the wind-up process and individual benefits have been distributed. Members who have already received correspondence from the trustee regarding their entitlements are not required to respond further to this notice.
However, individuals who believe they may be entitled to benefits under the plan but have not yet been contacted are advised to submit a written claim. Such claims must include the claimant’s full name, address, details of the claim, and any supporting documentation. Claims should be sent to the PIMCO Europe Limited Defined Contribution Pension Plan, care of Zedra Governance Limited, at the address Merlin House, Brunel Road, Theale, Reading, RG7 4AB, or via email at zgl.admin@zedra.com. The deadline for submitting claims is December 31, 2026.
Following this date, the trustee will proceed with winding up the plan and distributing its assets based solely on the claims and interests that have been formally submitted and acknowledged. The trustee will not be liable for any claims or entitlements that are not received prior to the wind-up.
This announcement has been issued on behalf of the trustee to ensure all potential beneficiaries are aware of the plan’s closure and the appropriate procedures to make claims.
