Vickrum Digwa, 23, has lodged an appeal against his conviction and life sentence for the murder of Henry Nowak. The Court of Appeal confirmed that Digwa intends to challenge the verdict handed down in June, which included a minimum term of 21 years in prison.

Digwa was convicted of fatally stabbing Nowak, an 18-year-old, during an incident that took place in Southampton on December 3 of last year. At this stage, no date has been scheduled for the hearing of the appeal.
