Promoters behind Oasis’s 2025 reunion tour have secured a licence to hold large-scale events at Knebworth House, raising the possibility of the band performing there again. SJM Concerts was granted permission to stage concerts accommodating up to 125,000 attendees, with the licence taking effect on August 1 and remaining valid indefinitely.

The announcement comes just days ahead of the 30th anniversary of Oasis’s landmark 1996 shows at Knebworth, which drew unprecedented demand. That year, more than four percent of the UK’s population applied for tickets to the two sold-out concerts, solidifying the venue’s place in the band’s history.

Fans have already expressed excitement about the prospect of a return, with social media users describing the idea as “the stuff of dreams” and urging lead singer Liam Gallagher to confirm any plans. The renewed interest is also being fueled by the upcoming release of a documentary about Oasis’s 2025 reunion tour, scheduled for next month, which is expected to further highlight the band’s enduring legacy.

In addition to speculation about future Knebworth shows, bookmakers have responded to the band’s resurgence by significantly shortening odds on Oasis headlining the 2027 Glastonbury Festival, adjusting the likelihood from 3-1 to 1-2.

While no official announcement has been made about specific dates or plans for Oasis at Knebworth, the newly secured licence provides a framework for potential large-scale concerts, suggesting the venue could once again host the band renowned for its historic performances there.
