At The Citadel, Greenleigh was known for his determination and kindness, qualities that were evident both on and off the court. He was honored to serve as the clerk for The Citadel Jewish Student Association, reflecting his commitment to his faith and community. His involvement extended beyond campus, where he volunteered with various Jewish organizations and embraced the value of Tikkun Olam, or repairing the world.
Greenleigh grew up surrounded by a close-knit family that stressed togetherness and shared activities, from weekend outings to family gatherings. His parents, Suzanne and David Greenleigh, along with his sister Lily, were central to his life, sharing a strong bond. A memorial service was scheduled for May 1, 2026, at Washington Hebrew Congregation in Washington, D.C., with burial to follow at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park in Clarksburg, Maryland. The family also planned to sit Shiva, a traditional mourning period, with gatherings held at Woodmont Country Club and the Greenleigh residence.
