He was the husband of the late JoAnn Wittman, née Jenkins, and is survived by six children: Ken (Tiffany), Melody (Jerry) Rehor, Brian (Geri), Christin (Shane), Sabrina (Jamie) Sterling, and Linda (Jeff) Oxarart-Lyden. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Frederick Jr. and Rick.

Mr. Wittman was a proud grandfather to Eleanor Joann and Becky Rehor, and great-grandfather to Cassian Seiber and Aaliyah Seiber. He is remembered by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends who valued his presence in their lives.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home located at 10501 W. Cermak Road in Westchester. The funeral service and interment are scheduled for Friday, July 10, at 11:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights.
