Olivia Rodrigo has announced the launch of an all-women music festival titled Daisy Chain Fields, set to take place on August 29 in Irvine, California. The festival will feature a lineup of artists that Rodrigo describes as her “heroes and friends,” including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Stevie Nicks, K-pop group Katseye, British singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri, and Canadian musician Sarah McLachlan, among others.

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter revealed the event on Monday through an Instagram post accompanied by the festival’s official poster, which incorporates a flower made of colorful pins. One of the pins displays the slogan “Bans Off Our Bodies,” aligning the event with the ongoing campaign supporting abortion rights in the United States.

Rodrigo, known for her breakthrough single “Drivers License,” expressed enthusiasm about realizing a long-held vision with the festival. She emphasized the role of music, community, and joy as catalysts for meaningful social change and highlighted that net proceeds from the event will be donated to organizations committed to advancing opportunities and advocating for the rights of women and girls.

“The lineup is truly incredible and full of my heroes and friends," she said. "I firmly believe that joy, community and music can be drivers of meaningful change, and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that.”

The announcement follows the recent release of Rodrigo’s third studio album, *You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love*, further establishing her prominence in contemporary pop music. By curating a festival centered exclusively on female artists, Rodrigo aims to spotlight female talent while supporting related social causes.
