Olivia Wilde has addressed reports of tension during the production of her 2022 film "Don’t Worry Darling," denying claims of on-set conflicts involving herself, Florence Pugh, and Harry Styles. In an interview with the Cut, Wilde refuted rumors of heated exchanges, including reports of screaming matches between her and Pugh. She stated that she had never experienced such disputes on set and was always available during filming.
The actress also touched on the intense media scrutiny concerning her personal life, particularly her relationship with Styles, which began during the making of the film and lasted nearly two years before ending in 2022. Wilde revealed that she was advised not to publicly respond to the swirling rumors at the time, recalling being told, "Don’t say a f - - king word. Just go out there and smile." She expressed resentment toward this advice but acknowledged that the experience influenced how she now chooses to handle public matters.
Requests for comment from representatives of Florence Pugh were not immediately returned.
