The defender, who joined the Seagulls on a five-year contract in July 2025, appeared in just 12 matches during his first season. Boscagli previously enjoyed a successful six-year spell with PSV Eindhoven but acknowledged that adapting to Brighton’s environment required patience. You can find the easy way and leave the club. I try to step up and show my best,” he said.

Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeler also addressed concerns about winger Yankuba Minteh, whose future had attracted considerable attention after Liverpool’s reported £60 million bid for the 20-year-old was declined. Hurzeler affirmed Minteh’s commitment to Brighton, stating, “He is committed to this club.” However, the winger will be absent from Brighton’s upcoming Premier League fixture against Chelsea due to a leg injury, with an expected recovery time of two to three months.
