Oman and Uzbekistan held discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors. The talks took place on October 11, 2026, at the Uzbek Foreign Ministry headquarters in Tashkent.
The meeting brought together Khalid bin Hashil al Muselhi, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs of Oman, and Bahramjon Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Both officials explored avenues to deepen the partnership between the two nations, reflecting their commitment to fostering closer ties.
In addition to bilateral cooperation, the delegation exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest. The dialogue underscored the countries’ shared priorities and their willingness to collaborate on matters that extend beyond their immediate bilateral relationship.
Oman’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Wafa bint Jabr al Busaidi, along with other representatives from both sides, participated in the meeting, signaling broad institutional engagement in the discussions. The talks reflect ongoing efforts by Oman and Uzbekistan to enhance diplomatic and economic connections in Central Asia and the Gulf region.
