The Oman Association for Children with Disabilities has welcomed 361 children for the 2026-2027 rehabilitation year as its eight centres across the country resumed operations. The centres are located in Athaiba, Seeb, Barka, Al Musannah, Saham, Yanqul, Dhank, and Jaalan Bani Busr Hassan.
With the start of the new cycle, the Association will provide specialized rehabilitation and educational services designed to develop the children’s skills and abilities. These programmes aim to enhance the children’s independence and self-confidence through tailored support.
Several of the centres also offer pre-vocational training to prepare students according to their individual capabilities. This stage focuses on developing foundational skills that help equip the children for advanced phases of independence and facilitate their social integration.
The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to support and empower children with disabilities across Oman through comprehensive rehabilitation and education services.
