The Sultanate of Oman is set to participate in the 50th edition of the Saba Saba Exhibition, scheduled to take place in the United Republic of Tanzania from June 28 to July 3, 2026. This marks a continued effort by Oman to expand its presence in international markets, particularly within East Africa.
Khalid bin Sulaiman al Salhi, Director-General of Marketing and Commercial Affairs and official spokesperson for “Madayn,” highlighted that Oman’s participation, led by the supervisory team for the promotion of Omani products known as “OPEX,” aims to enhance the visibility of Omani goods on the global stage. The delegation will manage and organize the national pavilion, which is designed to showcase Oman’s industrial, commercial, and service sectors.
The pavilion will feature 24 companies representing various industries, reflecting the country’s advancements in product specifications, quality, and packaging. According to al Salhi, the exhibition offers a strategic platform to boost exports and attract investment to Oman, particularly by facilitating access to the East African markets.
The Saba Saba Exhibition, with its long-standing history, serves as a prominent trade event attracting participants from across the region, providing opportunities for networking, business development, and market expansion. Oman’s involvement underscores its commitment to diversifying its economic partnerships and promoting its national industries internationally.
