Muscat — Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy met with Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine, to discuss the status and future of bilateral relations between the two countries. The meeting, held recently in Muscat, focused on deepening cooperation across various sectors and exploring opportunities to enhance partnership for mutual benefit.

During the discussions, both officials emphasized the importance of strengthening ties and expanding collaboration in areas of shared interest. They also addressed regional developments, underscoring their mutual support for initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and fostering stability. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing peaceful solutions through dialogue and consensus among involved parties, advocating policies geared toward de-escalation and sustained peace.

The meeting was attended by key officials including Munther bin Mahfoudh al Manthri, Head of the Europe Department at the Omani Foreign Ministry, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Oman Olha Selykh, and several other diplomatic representatives from both nations.
