Muscat – HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of Oman, met with Ana Escrogima, the United States Ambassador to Oman, on Monday to discuss the bilateral relationship between the two countries. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation, particularly in economic and investment sectors, as well as exchanging views on various topics of mutual interest.
The meeting took place in Muscat and was attended by several senior officials, including Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Yaarub bin Abdullah al Yaarubi, Secretary-General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.
Both sides emphasized the longstanding ties of friendship between Oman and the United States and explored opportunities to expand collaboration in trade and investment. The engagement reflects ongoing efforts by both governments to deepen economic partnerships and enhance bilateral cooperation across diverse fields.
