The ninth edition of the Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition commenced on Saturday in Salalah, bringing together small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Oman and Bahrain. The event, organized by the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association in cooperation with the Bahraini embassy in Oman, will run for eight days.

The exhibition is designed to support SMEs from both nations by offering a platform where producers can present their goods and services directly to consumers. It aims to foster trade and investment ties, enhance marketing opportunities, and strengthen economic collaboration between the two countries.

Approximately 30 Omani SMEs are participating, showcasing a diverse range of products including fashion items, perfumes, incense, Omani frankincense, traditional sweets like Omani halwa, accessories, heritage and handicraft goods, and household items. The event provides business owners the chance to exchange expertise in production processes, marketing strategies, and business management techniques.

Organizers emphasize that the exhibition contributes to expanding market access for SMEs and encourages knowledge sharing to help enterprises grow. By facilitating direct interaction between producers and consumers, the event supports efforts to increase bilateral trade and investment, while promoting the development of the SME sector in both Oman and Bahrain.
