Oman’s athletes are preparing for a busy schedule on Wednesday, with several competitors set to continue their campaigns. Al Rawahi will participate in the T13 long jump final, while Rawan al Hasani competes in the women’s wheelchair 100 meters. In field events, Iman al Shamsi will contest the women’s F34 shot put, and Al Saadi will switch from javelin to the men’s F53 shot put event. Mohammed al Qasmi and Mohammed al Mashaykhi will also start their shot put competitions in the F32 category.

In addition to athletics, handcyclist Sami al Sulaimi is slated to begin his race series on Wednesday with the individual time trial, followed by participation in the men’s H4-5 road race on Thursday. His preparation involved specialized training focused on climbing, descending, endurance, and physical conditioning tailored to the rigors of international competition.

Oman’s participation at the Asian Para Games results from a coordinated preparation programme led by the Oman Paralympic Committee in conjunction with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth. The delegation's training included international camps in Poland and Thailand, supplemented by sessions at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat. The Omani team aims to build on its early performances as the Games progress.
