Muscat marked its annual observance of Omani Youth Day on October 26 with a ceremony under the patronage of HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat. The event this year was themed “Azm,” an Arabic term meaning “Resolve,” highlighting the determination and ambition attributed to Omani youth.

The theme underscores the values of steadfastness and boldness that young Omanis are said to embrace, drawing inspiration from their homeland. Officials emphasized that these qualities serve as guiding principles in the personal development and decision-making processes of the nation’s youth, reinforcing their role in shaping Oman’s future.

Omani Youth Day is observed annually to celebrate the contributions and aspirations of young people across the country. The day provides a platform to recognize their potential and encourage their active participation in national development.
