A group of Omani participants who recently completed a Russian language course were honored at a ceremony held at the Russian House in Muscat on July 15. The event marked a significant step in advancing the institution’s educational initiatives in Oman.
The introductory Russian language program ran from June 1 to July 13 and was delivered by a native Russian-speaking instructor. The curriculum emphasized practical language skills, providing attendees with a foundation to communicate confidently in Russian.
Russian House Oman, an official partner of Rossotrudnichestvo—a Russian federal agency dedicated to cultural and humanitarian cooperation—hosted an international cohort of learners for the course. The program aimed to foster deeper communication and cultural ties through language education.
Anna Popova, Head of Russian House Oman, highlighted the impact of the course, noting that it helped participants establish new connections and sparked genuine interest in Russia. She also mentioned plans to expand the program with additional groups starting in September, reflecting a commitment to further developing Russian language education in Oman.
