OMANTEL Innovation Labs has announced the inclusion of nine startups in its eighth cohort, continuing its initiative to nurture technological innovation and entrepreneurship in the region. The latest group comprises a diverse range of companies specializing in fields such as fintech, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, industrial technology, food technology, and advanced manufacturing.

Seven of the startups were selected through a competitive application and evaluation process. Additionally, two firms participating in the cohort originate from stc’s inspireU accelerator program in Saudi Arabia, adding a regional collaboration component aimed at expanding market reach and industry connections.

The startups joining Cohort 8 are:

- Al Ankaa, a firm offering advanced technical solutions to government, commercial, and civil sectors by leveraging low- or no-code development platforms alongside artificial intelligence technologies.

- CardO, which provides corporate card services and expense management solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, replacing traditional petty cash with virtual cards and real-time spending controls.

- DR3K, an AI-driven mobile application security testing platform that identifies vulnerabilities and evaluates their risk, supporting organizations in preempting cyberattacks.

- Innotech, a company focusing on transforming the concrete industry through 3D printing for construction projects and artificial reefs. The startup aims to lower costs, accelerate delivery times, and reduce carbon footprints through automated and scalable manufacturing processes.

- MisMar, originating from stc’s inspireU accelerator, specializes in automotive technology by digitizing and reengineering vehicle after-sales services, ranging from routine maintenance like oil changes to complex repairs.

- Modern Zone, which delivers an AI-enabled operational intelligence platform for industrial plants and distributed infrastructure. The platform integrates equipment and operational data to provide real-time monitoring, anomaly detection, and efficiency improvements.

- Nabt, a technology-centric fresh produce company founded in Riyadh in 2022. Nabt collaborates with farms across Saudi Arabia to supply graded, traceable produce through cold chain logistics managed from hubs in Riyadh and Jeddah.

- OCO, a subscription-based platform that connects customers with restaurants across Oman by offering buy-one-get-one deals, discounts, order-ahead options, and meal gifting capabilities.

- SEE360, an Arabic-language intelligent system designed to track stakeholder commitments on Oman’s large-scale projects. The platform helps maintain engagement records across team transitions, speeds up approval processes, and supports defensible decision-making.

The inclusion of startups from both Oman and Saudi Arabia highlights OMANTEL Innovation Labs’ commitment to fostering a collaborative ecosystem that promotes innovation and market expansion across the Gulf region. This initiative aims to support emerging tech companies in scaling their operations and accessing new industry networks.
