Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has rejoined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan for the second consecutive year. The 30-year-old goalkeeper, who made 40 appearances for the Turkish Super Lig club during his previous loan spell, played a key role in helping Trabzonspor secure a third-place finish in the league and capture the Turkish Cup.
Under the terms of the deal, Trabzonspor is expected to cover Onana’s full wages for the upcoming season and will pay an undisclosed loan fee to Manchester United. The move allows Onana to continue gaining regular playing time in a competitive league while Manchester United retain his rights.
