Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) reported that a fire broke out on Monday afternoon in an apartment within a residential building in the Farwaniya area, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. Firefighting teams from the Farwaniya, Subhan, and Search and Rescue centers responded promptly to the incident, successfully extinguishing the blaze before handing over the scene to relevant authorities for further investigation.

The KFF did not release details concerning the cause of the fire or the identities of those affected. In a statement, the force emphasized the importance of adherence to safety and fire prevention regulations, urging citizens and residents to take all necessary precautions to safeguard lives and property and to help prevent future occurrences.

In a separate incident on Monday afternoon, firefighters from the Mangaf Fire Station contained a fire involving two vehicles parked at a commercial complex in the Egaila area. The flames were extinguished quickly, preventing the spread to neighboring vehicles or structures. No injuries were reported in this case. Authorities assumed control of the site to conduct the required legal procedures and to determine the fire’s origin.
