Operatunity will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a nationwide concert tour titled Rat Pack and Marilyn – Vegas Legends, scheduled to run from July 8 through August 11. The tour aims to evoke the golden era of swing music and mid-20th-century glamour, featuring classic songs associated with iconic performers such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Marilyn Monroe, and Ella Fitzgerald.

The production’s repertoire includes well-known hits like "Luck Be a Lady," "The Lady is a Tramp," "Come Fly with Me," "New York, New York," "Mr Bojangles," "Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend," "Sway," and "At Last." It also incorporates band renditions of "Call Me" and "Mack the Knife." Operatunity describes the show as a “stylish and swinging” tribute to the melody and nostalgia that defined the era and its celebrated artists.

Performers leading the concert include Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua, Russell Dixon, and Matt Pike, who are expected to channel the Rat Pack’s signature blend of charisma, humor, and warmth. They will be accompanied by a live band featuring horns, bass, and drums. Adding to the production’s appeal is Leanne Howell, whose performances pay tribute to notable female artists of the period, including Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Doris Day, and Marilyn Monroe.

Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua described the show as "pure Vegas magic," highlighting its combination of memorable tunes, rich vocals, and classic style reminiscent of how the music was originally experienced.

The Vegas Legends tour is part of Operatunity’s broader 25th anniversary celebrations. Since its inception, the company has produced nearly 200 daytime concerts annually across 24 venues spanning from Whangārei in the north to Invercargill in the south. Operatunity reports having sold close to one million tickets and engaged hundreds of New Zealand artists throughout its history.
