Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes and helped lead the Green Bay Packers to a 17-14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday in Tampa, handing the Buccaneers their fourth consecutive loss to start the season. The Packers improved to 2-2 overall and remain unbeaten on the road at 2-0.
Love completed 22 of 30 passes for 197 yards, connecting with tight end Tucker Kraft for a key touchdown. Kraft finished with six receptions for 42 yards and the lone receiving touchdown for Green Bay. Daniels also gained 55 rushing yards. Despite his efforts, the Buccaneers remained the only winless team in the NFC at 0-4.
The game was tightly contested throughout. Green Bay took a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter after a 16-play, 68-yard drive culminating in Love’s 2-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Matthew Golden. Tampa Bay responded on the ground with a 2-yard rushing touchdown by Sean Tucker to tie the score at 7-all late in the first half.

Daniels later threw his first career touchdown pass to Kenneth Gainwell on a 10-yard reception to narrow the deficit to three points with more than 14 minutes remaining.
The Buccaneers’ offense struggled to capitalize on turnovers. Green Bay cornerback Zyon McCollum recovered a fumble deep in Tampa Bay territory, but the Packers were unable to convert the takeaway into additional points. Daniels was intercepted twice, with the final pick occurring at the Tampa Bay 7-yard line in the fourth quarter.
Tampa Bay mounted a late drive toward the Packers’ 46-yard line but failed to convert on downs with just over a minute remaining, sealing the narrow Green Bay victory.
The game underscored the Packers’ balanced approach, combining effective quarterback play with opportunistic defense, while the Buccaneers continue to search for a spark to end their early-season skid.
