Television presenter Paddy McGuinness has been reported to be dating Emma Carey, a publicist for BBC Radio 2, following his separation from his wife, Christine McGuinness. The couple was seen together last week dining at a high-end hotel in central London. McGuinness, 52, known for hosting shows such as "Take Me Out" and appearing as a DJ, shared the evening with Carey, who also works as a yoga instructor and promotes wellness retreats.

McGuinness and Emma Carey were seen leaving the restaurant at the Rosewood Hotel before heading to another nearby hotel. The pair appeared comfortable and happy in each other’s company, according to onlookers. The presenter was in London last week as part of his co-hosting duties on ITV1’s "This Morning" alongside Josie Gibson, as well as for his Sunday radio show on BBC Radio 2, where Carey is employed.

This marks McGuinness’s first public romantic engagement since his 2022 split from Christine McGuinness after 11 years of marriage. The former couple finalized their divorce in 2024 and share three children: 13-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, and nine-year-old Felicity.

Despite their separation, the ex-spouses continue to co-parent their children and currently reside together in their £6.5 million family home in Cheshire. They had initially planned to sell the property and purchase two smaller residences, but with no buyers, they decided to remain under the same roof. Christine McGuinness has described their living arrangement as working better than expected, noting that they maintain mutual respect and share the home amicably with defined private spaces.

Christine has also spoken publicly about her own personal life since the split, revealing that she no longer pursues relationships with men and is interested in dating women. She has been linked to Olympic gold medalist Nicola Adams and DJ Roxanne Conway. Christine expressed openness about her desire to one day marry a woman but acknowledged the challenges of re-entering the dating world.

McGuinness has maintained a relatively private stance on his dating life following the divorce, though he acknowledged in interviews that he was focusing on work and raising their children immediately after the separation. Earlier reports and social media posts have sparked speculation about his personal life, but this recent appearance with Carey is the first confirmed public display of a new relationship.

Both Paddy and Christine McGuinness have emphasized their ongoing commitment to co-parenting while navigating their post-marriage lives separately.
