KUWAIT CITY — Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired a recent meeting of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) on June 13. The session, which included the newly appointed board members, addressed multiple agenda items and approved the authority’s final accounts.
During the meeting, Sheikh Fahad welcomed the new board members and conveyed his optimism regarding their roles and responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of bolstering PAM’s efforts to enhance its operations and fulfill its objectives in ways that benefit public interests and contribute positively to the development of Kuwait’s labor market.
Sheikh Fahad highlighted the significance of strengthening institutional frameworks and boosting performance in accordance with government directives. These directives aim to enhance the efficiency of public sector entities and ensure adherence to high standards of governance and transparency in financial and administrative management.
He commended PAM for its ongoing work in regulating the labor market and improving service delivery to both citizens and expatriate populations, including employers and employees. The meeting underscored the authority’s commitment to advancing labor market regulation and supporting sustainable economic growth through effective manpower management.
