As the new academic year begins, a growing number of parents are participating in the "Wassel Eyalak" ("Take Your Children to School") campaign, aimed at fostering stronger family connections through active involvement in children's daily school routines. The initiative encourages parents not only to accompany their children physically but also to engage in meaningful conversations during the trip, supporting students emotionally and morally.

Early observations on the first days of school across several institutions revealed a noticeable increase in parents accompanying their children, reflecting the campaign’s call to strengthen family bonds beyond academic oversight. Fahad al-Derham, the manager of Mohamed bin Abdulaziz Al Mana Secondary School, emphasized that even brief walks to school present valuable opportunities for parents to motivate their children and address any concerns they might have. He stressed that maintaining this level of involvement throughout the academic year is crucial for creating a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their daily challenges and achievements.
