Parinaz Cooper, a resident of Dadar Parsi Colony and a student of computer engineering, has distinguished herself as a finalist in the 61st edition of Femina Miss India, one of the country’s most prominent beauty pageants. The event’s grand finale is slated for April 18, 2026, at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar.

Cooper secured her position among the top eight contestants in both the Maharashtra and Gujarat preliminary rounds, reflecting consistent performance and strong stage presence. At the Maharashtra round, she was honored with the titles of ‘Miss Congeniality’ and ‘Beautiful Smile,’ while at the Gujarat round, she received the ‘Best Ramp Walk’ award. The pageant features 30 contestants representing 29 states and a combined Union Territory.

In addition to her participation in the pageant, Cooper balances a rigorous academic and professional profile. Her technical work includes developing a Sign Language Recognition System utilizing machine learning and artificial intelligence. Outside of technology, she is active in sports, having completed half marathons, competed in national and international karate tournaments, and earned certification as a scuba diver.

Cooper’s involvement extends into the fashion industry, where she has collaborated with various brands such as Ashdeen, Papa Don’t Preach, Reliance Jewels, Nykaa, McDonald’s, and Skybags. Her personal interests also encompass social causes, including advocating for the welfare of stray animals.

The daughter of Dilkhush and Burgess Cooper, she embodies a combination of determination, grace, and a commitment to purpose. As she prepares to represent Gujarat at the national final, her journey highlights the blend of academic achievement, athletic discipline, and creative ambition.
