Parkdean Resorts, a leading holiday park operator based in Gosforth, reported a modest increase in both revenue and profits for the fiscal year 2025, despite facing significant inflationary and operational cost challenges. The company, which runs 65 caravan parks across the United Kingdom, saw its revenues rise by 3.3% to £527.7 million, while its gross profit edged up by £1 million, reaching £380.9 million.

The firm attributed its resilient performance to strong consumer demand for affordable UK holiday options, with particular growth noted in on-site spending during peak seasons. Areas such as food and drink, activities, and leisure services all posted record highs, supported by effective television and social media marketing campaigns that boosted customer engagement.

In 2026, Parkdean Resorts has already experienced an acceleration in trading performance, with the company reporting double-digit profit growth so far this year. The operator invested £55 million in 2026 to enhance its parks, accommodation, facilities, guest experiences, and digital capabilities, efforts which have contributed to rising brand awareness, increased guest spending, and stronger social media interaction.

Looking ahead, Parkdean Resorts announced plans for a £70 million capital investment programme in 2027 designed to further upgrade its sites. This includes implementing its “parks of the future” concept at Thorness Bay on the Isle of Wight and Skipsea Sands in Bridlington. The company emphasized its commitment to maintaining growth in a market that continues to show opportunities despite broader economic uncertainties and constrained consumer confidence.

With a portfolio encompassing popular coastal, lakeside, and countryside locations throughout the UK—including North East parks such as Crimdon Dene, Cresswell Towers, Whitley Bay, Church Point, and Sandy Bay—Parkdean highlighted the strength of its brand and team as key factors in sustaining its market position. A company spokesperson noted that the ongoing support from shareholders, combined with its extensive and attractive holiday offerings, positions Parkdean Resorts well for future success.
