Pat Cash, the Australian former Wimbledon champion known for his memorable celebration during the 1987 men's singles final, has announced his engagement to singer-songwriter Charlotte Hodson. Cash, 61, described Hodson, 54, as his “soulmate” and expressed gratitude for their relationship, calling it a fortunate and seemingly destined connection. The pair first appeared together publicly at Wimbledon last year, where Cash was working as a commentator. Hodson, who resides in Buckinghamshire, balances a career as a massage therapist alongside her musical pursuits. She is a member of the pop group Chocolate Charlie and has performed alongside artists such as Dannii Minogue and Westlife. Hodson is also a mother of two sons.

Cash also has four children from previous relationships.
