The New England Patriots reported mixed injury updates Thursday ahead of their Sunday matchup against the New York Jets. Wide receiver A.J. Brown, running back TreVeyon Henderson, and left tackle Will Campbell all participated in practice on a limited basis, marking the first time they were on the field together since the start of the regular season.

Brown, who remains on injured reserve due to an ankle injury, has not practiced in over a month, and his status for Sunday’s game remains uncertain. Henderson and Campbell, both sidelined with injuries sustained in last weekend’s victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, were also limited in practice. In total, 12 Patriots players were designated as limited participants during the session.

Several other key players did not practice at all, including cornerback Carlton Davis (neck), defensive lineman Cory Durden (illness), and cornerback Karon Prunty (hamstring). On the Jets side, four players were absent from practice, notably running back Breece Hall (quad) and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell (finger), adding to ongoing injury concerns for Sunday’s contest.

In other team news, the Patriots announced the passing of Jon Morris, a Hall of Fame center and franchise legend. Morris, who died at age 84, played 11 seasons with the Patriots from 1964 to 1974 and became the first Patriots player to be selected to the NFL Pro Bowl in 1970. After finishing his career with the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears, Morris returned to New England as a radio commentator from 1979 to 1987, maintaining a strong connection to the team and its history.

The Patriots enter the Jets game seeking to maintain momentum after their recent win over Las Vegas, while managing an injury list that continues to impact key contributors on both sides of the ball.
