A Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) is on trial accused of leaking confidential information related to a machete attack in Bradford, court proceedings revealed. Alice Dobson, 30, faces allegations of misusing her position by providing sensitive details to individuals linked to the incident.
The attack occurred in May 2025, leaving Mohammed Zayad with the loss of a hand and his nephew, Mohammed Usamah, suffering a severe neck injury. Prosecutors contend the assault was an act of retaliation for an earlier incident in March of the same year.
During the trial at Bradford Crown Court, evidence was presented indicating that Dobson accessed police files concerning both victims. It was further alleged that she was near the location of the machete attack at the time it happened and was in communication by phone with her former partner, Fazal Mohammed, shortly afterward. Additionally, Dobson is accused of speaking with one of the men charged in connection with the attack, Rahees Khan, 42.
Prosecutor Stephen Wood described Dobson as acting as an "inside guy" for criminals operating within one specific Bradford postcode, suggesting she provided information that could have aided the perpetrators. The trial remains ongoing as the court continues to examine the evidence.
