A Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection with the fatal beating of his mother at their home in Sewickley Township on Sunday morning. Authorities identified the victim as Christin Hamilton, who was found outside the residence around 9 a.m. by her daughter, severely injured and without clothing except for a towel.

According to police, 29-year-old Jakob Korber allegedly attacked Hamilton as she stepped outside to let her dog out. The assault reportedly lasted about an hour and was captured on a surveillance camera positioned in front of the house. Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Steven Limani described the incident as a "horrific" act and expressed condemnation of the violence.

Korber later surrendered to law enforcement officials on the side of a nearby road, where news crews recorded footage of the arrest. Further details about the motive behind the attack or the current condition of Korber have not been disclosed. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence.
