United Development Company (UDC) has unveiled two significant residential projects at Cityscape Qatar 2026, emphasizing its diverse portfolio aimed at meeting the varying demands of homeowners and investors. The company showcased Perlita Gardens, a newly launched villa community on The Pearl Island, and Crystal Residence, a completed apartment complex on Gewan Island offering flexible ownership options along with a limited-time sales promotion.
At the event, UDC presented these developments side by side, highlighting their distinct characteristics. Perlita Gardens introduces 150 standalone villas across seven unique layouts, each designed with six master bedrooms to accommodate privacy, multigenerational living, hosting, and a seamless indoor-outdoor lifestyle. This project reflects the company’s focus on family-oriented spaces within one of Qatar’s most established integrated communities, with development expected to span approximately three years. Prospective buyers have begun registering Expressions of Interest and can take advantage of UDC’s in-house payment plans alongside mortgage financing available through Commercial Bank and Dukhan Bank.
In contrast, Crystal Residence on Gewan Island offers completed one- to four-bedroom apartments situated in a vibrant waterfront neighborhood. Residents benefit from proximity to the Crystal Walkway and the seaside promenade, as well as an expanding array of retail, dining, leisure, and hospitality venues. The development’s attractiveness to investors is bolstered by UDC’s flexible ownership structures, which include a 7.7% down payment with interest-free installments over six years and the ability to rent the property immediately, and a seven-year Lease-to-Own option with a 2% purchase fee and subleasing opportunities.
Yasser Salah al-Jaidah, UDC president and CEO, noted that Cityscape Qatar presents an essential platform to observe market shifts and demonstrate the company’s evolving residential strategies. He emphasized UDC’s role as a master developer in delivering a variety of products and ownership models that cater to different market needs. Hussain Akbar al-Baker, executive director of Commercial and Properties at UDC, added that both developments are grounded in offering residential opportunities within destinations that possess a distinct identity, robust infrastructure, and long-term growth vision.
The company’s approach extends beyond individual properties to encompass lifestyle and community experiences, offering buyers the chance to engage with the surroundings and planned infrastructure through immersive exhibitions at Cityscape. Following the event, UDC will continue consultations through its sales channels, allowing interested parties to explore detailed property and investment options.
Together, Perlita Gardens and Crystal Residence underscore UDC’s commitment to expanding Qatar’s residential landscape through thoughtfully designed communities that address varying preferences for immediate occupancy, investment potential, and new development opportunities.
