Perrie Edwards has ended her long-standing partnership with Sony Music and management company Modest! after 15 years, marking a new phase in her solo career. The former Little Mix singer, who released her self-titled debut solo album last year, has declined an offer to produce her second record under Sony’s Columbia label, opting instead for a fresh start with a different team.

Edwards is set to join Various Artists Management, which represents artists such as Tom Grennan, Rose Gray, and Mel C. Sources close to the singer describe the move as a strategic shift aimed at gaining greater control over her artistic direction and career decisions. Her debut album reached number three on the charts and included the Top Ten single "Forget About Us."

Insiders revealed that Edwards, having reflected on her initial solo campaign, has developed a clearer vision of the musical identity she wishes to pursue. While she appreciates the support and collaboration provided by Columbia, Sony, and Modest! throughout her tenure with Little Mix and as a solo artist, she felt the timing was right to assemble a new team aligned with her evolving goals.
