Kuwait is set to open the third phase of Al-Shaheed Park on October 1, expanding the offerings at one of the country’s leading public recreational spaces. The launch will be celebrated with a two-day carnival running from October 1 to 2, featuring a variety of cultural and entertainment activities.

The event’s program includes light shows, traditional Kuwaiti heritage performances, parades, artistic installations, and live demonstrations of parkour and skating. These festivities will be held under the overarching themes of peace, harmony, and hope.

Phase three of the park introduces several new facilities aimed at enhancing visitor experience. A key attraction is the Al-Sour Theater Complex, which houses a 2,300-seat Roman-style theater, an outdoor cinema, and a multipurpose hall. The park’s recreational options are also broadened with the addition of an Olympic-sized ice-skating rink, Snow World—a winter-themed attraction—and an indoor electric karting circuit.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the expanded park includes a 2.4-kilometer running and walking track, climbing areas, a maze garden, and interactive visitor maps to guide exploration. These features collectively contribute to Al-Shaheed Park’s position as a versatile venue for cultural, sporting, and family activities in Kuwait.
