American singer Pink is nearing completion on her 13th studio album, marking her first major release since 2023’s Trustfall, which became her sixth solo UK No. 1. According to sources close to the artist, Pink has spent the past year working quietly on the project, which is expected to present a somewhat different sound from her previous work.
Insiders say Pink did not begin the album until early last year, preferring to focus exclusively on touring during her concert schedules. The singer is currently finalizing tracks in the studio and preparing a rollout strategy ahead of the album’s formal announcement, anticipated after a series of upcoming public appearances. While the new record does not represent a complete departure from her established style, those familiar with the project note that it features subtle shifts in tone and musical direction.
Pink made a notable appearance earlier this month at the Tony Awards, delivering a performance of the 2001 hit “Lady Marmalade” before hosting the ceremony. She is also scheduled to attend the Nordoff And Robbins O2 Silver Clef charity gala at London’s Royal Albert Hall next month, where she will receive the event’s top honour, the O2 Silver Clef award. The gala recognizes legendary musicians and supports charitable causes, with fellow honourees including Jade from Little Mix and Mel C of the Spice Girls.
In addition to these events, Pink reportedly has several other appearances planned prior to the end of summer, though details have not been disclosed. In March, reports indicated she secured a multi-million-dollar residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, making her the first solo female pop artist to headline the venue. Promoters have likened her live performances to the high energy typical of Las Vegas shows, and the Sphere’s management reportedly made significant financial and production commitments to secure her residency.
Pink last toured the UK in 2024, performing her Summer Carnival Tour at outdoor venues. Observers note that despite her commercial success and stage presence, she remains somewhat underrated compared to some of her contemporaries. The forthcoming album and live appearances are expected to reaffirm her standing as a major figure in contemporary pop music.
