Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) hosted its Science Exhibition 2026-27 across all school divisions, providing students with a comprehensive platform to demonstrate scientific knowledge, creativity, and environmental awareness. The event spanned the KG, Primary, Girls, Boys, and Cambridge Wings, involving a variety of projects and presentations between early October.

The KG Wing held an Inter-House Competition promoting early scientific exploration through projects focused on environmental themes such as pollution, recycling, clean environments, ocean life, and eco-friendly models. These displays highlighted the young students’ understanding of environmental responsibility and the importance of sustainability.

On October 4, the Primary Wing showcased a range of classroom-based scientific projects. Students explained concepts and demonstrated practical models to attendees, including parents who expressed appreciation for the children’s efforts. School leadership, including the vice-principal and primary wing coordinators, credited both teachers and parents for their collaborative role in the event's success.

During the same period, the Girls Wing held an Internal Science Exhibition on October 4, followed by an Inter-Wing Competition on October 5 featuring selected projects from Grades 5 through 12. Participants displayed diverse scientific understanding, creative solutions, and confident presentations. Principal Muhammad Afzal, accompanied by vice-principals from all wings, visited the exhibitions, engaging with students and commending their innovation.

The Boys Wing exhibition presented a broad array of scientific and technological topics, including robotics, biodiversity, renewable energy, smart irrigation, bioplastics, gravity, optics, and sustainable technologies such as automation and pollution control. Under the guidance of science mentors, students demonstrated practical applications of scientific principles to real-world challenges.

At the Cambridge Wing, students displayed projects highlighting advanced scientific concepts such as the physics of drifting, wind turbines, maglev trains, volcanic eruptions, electropating, sound and vibrations, hydraulic arms, solar energy, smart fire detectors, the Iron Dome system, and water filtration. Led by mentor Yusuf Wasil, students confidently linked theoretical knowledge with technological innovation.

The collective effort of PISQ’s management, vice-principals, teachers, coordinators, science mentors, parents, and students contributed to the smooth execution of the exhibitions. The initiative underscored the school’s dedication to fostering scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and environmental stewardship. By encouraging students to move beyond textbook learning and actively engage in experimentation and exploration, PISQ aims to nurture a generation capable of contributing to a sustainable and technologically advanced future.
