His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah returned to Kuwait after attending the inaugural EU-GCC Geopolitical and Investment Summit held in Greece. The summit marked the first gathering between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council aimed at enhancing strategic and economic cooperation.
Upon his arrival, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was welcomed at the airport by several senior Kuwaiti officials, including First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Shereedah Al-Maousherji, Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and Acting Chief of the Prime Minister’s Diwan Sheikh Khaled Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah.
The EU-GCC summit provided a platform for discussions on regional geopolitical developments and investment opportunities, reflecting Kuwait’s ongoing engagement in fostering multilateral ties. The event underscored the priorities of both blocs to deepen cooperation across political, security, and economic dimensions in light of evolving global challenges.
