Podar Pearl School has been awarded the “My White Flag” Trophy – “Rayati Bayda Cup” in recognition of maintaining the “White Flag” status for three consecutive years since the award’s inception. The accolade highlights the school’s consistent adherence to regulatory standards and its commitment to institutional excellence and responsible governance.
The school’s achievement follows comprehensive evaluations carried out by Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), specifically the Department of Private Schools and Kindergartens. These assessments examined various aspects of the school’s operations, including academic standards, administrative processes, campus safety, infrastructure, staff documentation, student welfare, transportation, and support for learners with additional needs. Additionally, the evaluation scrutinized the effectiveness of grievance-redressal mechanisms, compliance with the ministry’s Code of Ethics, and the awareness of regulatory requirements among parents, staff, and students.
Alongside Podar Pearl School, Podar Pearl Kindergarten and Pearl Kindergarten also received “White Flag” recognition certificates for meeting the regulatory benchmarks established by the MoEHE.
The awards were presented during a formal ceremony where Podar Pearl School’s president, C Muhammed Nizar, principal Rakesh Singh Tomar, and vice-principal Rathi Ramanujam received the trophy from Dr. Rania Mohammed, director of Private Schools and Kindergartens and acting director of the Private School Licensing Department within the MoEHE. Recognition certificates for the kindergartens were awarded to headmistress Sandhya Raghavan Nair of Podar Pearl Kindergarten and Pearl Kindergarten in-charge Safana.
Podar Pearl School’s leadership emphasized that the recognition is a testament to the institution’s culture of accountability, transparency, discipline, and operational excellence. The school noted that maintaining zero violations over three years demonstrates its commitment to Qatar’s regulatory framework and the promotion of a safe, supportive learning environment.
