Police arrested a wanted man following an extensive operation in Adelaide’s western suburbs on Sunday. Authorities took Beau Colborne into custody at a residence in West Hindmarsh after responding to reports of recent serious criminal activity.
A significant police presence was deployed to the area, with officers in tactical gear and armed units conducting a thorough search along Hindmarsh Avenue. Both Hindmarsh Avenue and Young Avenue were temporarily closed to facilitate the operation.
Just before 3 p.m., emergency services, including a police paddy wagon and an ambulance, were on the scene. Colborne was apprehended without resistance and was subsequently taken in for questioning.
Officials indicated that formal charges were expected to be filed against him the following day.
