Police in Aberdeen have seized drugs valued at approximately £1.37 million following a series of raids conducted earlier this week. Authorities executed 11 search warrants across the city on Monday and Tuesday, uncovering eight cannabis cultivation sites.

As a result of the operations, eight men aged between 24 and 54 were arrested and subsequently charged in connection with the drug findings. These individuals were scheduled to appear before Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Detective Inspector Andy Machray described the seizure as “a significant recovery,” highlighting the impact of the investigation on local drug activity. Further details about the ongoing inquiry or the specific charges laid against those arrested have not been disclosed.
