Freddie Potts has completed a transfer from West Ham United to Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge, signing a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old midfielder spent over 16 years with West Ham, having joined the club’s youth ranks at the age of six.

Potts’ career at West Ham included more than 100 senior appearances, with the 2022-2023 season seeing him make 25 first-team outings. During his time with the Hammers, he also spent loan periods at Wycombe Wanderers and Portsmouth, gaining valuable experience in competitive fixtures.

West Ham issued a statement expressing gratitude for Potts’ dedication and contributions to the club, extending their best wishes for his future at Club Brugge. The move marks Potts’ first permanent transfer abroad as he looks to establish himself in Belgium’s top tier.
