Power World Fitness Centres hosted its inaugural Power Run 2026 on September 12 in Battaramulla, attracting more than 200 participants from across its 21 branches. The 6-kilometer community run aimed to extend the fitness experience beyond the gym environment by fostering a broader sense of community and encouraging active participation among its members.

The event featured sponsorship and support from several prominent partners. Nestomalt served as the official title sponsor, while American Premium Water provided hydration support. Samaposha Cereal contributed as the nutrition partner, and Nutrimax was involved as the official supplement partner. Kings Hospital Colombo acted as the medical and wellness partner, offering support and ensuring participants’ health and safety throughout the event.

By organizing Power Run 2026, Power World Fitness Centres sought to establish an ongoing initiative that promotes wellness and active living beyond the confines of its fitness centres. The event is expected to become a recurring fixture, providing an inclusive platform for encouraging physical activity and community engagement among its growing membership.
