Premier Bank PLC marked its 27th anniversary with a commemorative event held at its head office in Shanta Pinnacle, Dhaka, on October 26, 2026. The celebration, conducted under the theme “27 Years of Legacy, Rebuild on Trust,” highlighted the institution’s dedication to advancing responsible and sustainable banking.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Arifur Rahman, founder shareholder and chairman of Premier Bank, who emphasized the importance of integrity and transparency in the bank’s future operations. Rahman noted efforts to address and resolve previous irregularities and stressed the need for well-planned strategies aimed at protecting depositors’ interests, expanding outreach, improving service quality, and earning customer trust.

Md Monzur Mofiz, managing director of Premier Bank, reflected on the bank’s growth over nearly three decades, attributing the institution’s success to the committed work of its employees and the consistent support of its customers. He underscored the bank's foundation in integrity, transparency, and governance as it pursues sustainable development going forward.

The event also included recognition of several officials for their long-standing service and dedication to the bank’s progress. Among the attendees were M Nurul Alam, independent director and chairman of Premier Bank Securities Limited; Syed Faridul Islam, independent director and chairman of the executive committee; and Md Sazzad Hossain, independent director and chairman of the risk management committee. The bank’s deputy managing directors, division heads, and senior officials were also present.

Participants expressed renewed commitment to maintaining the bank’s growth trajectory, focusing on strategic decision-making and collective efforts to meet future challenges.
